The next time you upload photos to Facebook, remember these base rules - even pictures labelled private might be visible by other unauthorised persons as long as they obtain the image addresses.
A Singaporean part-time car model uploaded racy photos onto the popular social networking site Facebook, where the images were quickly leaked and re-posted to various other websites.

A series of the most racy photos show the model in translucent lingerie and suggestive poses. According to the foreign website, the images were taken during her honeymoon, and certain images do suggest that she was indeed on a hotel room.
Several Internet sources stated that the images were uploaded to a private friends-only section of the model's Facebook page.
However, the popular social networking site does provide a URL (or web address) in which users can pass to non-Facebook users so that they can view the pictures without logging into the site. It was believed that this URL might have been leaked, thus exposing the otherwise private pictures.
The images were subsequently taken down. A check by AsiaOne also found that the model's Facebook account had been deleted.
