Lotus has unveiled the Evora 414E Hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show. As the title suggests this Evora features a hybrid powertrain and it is a full hybrid system that is aimed for performance driving.
There are two electric motors and each can output 204hp and up to 400Nm of torque. This allows the 414E to hit 100km/h in slightly under 4 seconds which is pretty darn quick. Just like the Proton Emas concept the 414E also uses a 1.2 liter internal combustion engine as a range extender.
The system is mated to 7-speed transmission and there are two modes to choose from including Eco and Sport. If you think that hybrid and electric cars don’t sound like their fuel drinking counterparts, think again!
The 414E Hybrid has something called HALOsonic. It artificially produces sounds of a combustion engine and you can hear them via speakers located at the front and rear of the car. More images are available after the jump.
